Spore allows a player to control the evolution of a species from its beginnings as a unicellular organism, through development as an intelligent and social creature, to interstellar exploration as a spacefaring culture.
Its the Sims meets Civilisation as you build and develop your own species, create cultures and tribes, build and develop houses and towns, and research new technologies like spaceflight.
Using the Creature Creator the player can customise what their species will look like, and ultimately, how it will evolve and survive.
