Are you ready to rock?!?!
Guitar Hero has won numerous awards from top-selling video game publications and its indisputable success forced a sequel, Guitar Hero II (released in 2006.) Armed with a replica miniature Gibson SG guitar controller to simulate the playing of an actual electric guitar, Guitar Hero takes the classic air guitar concept to a whole new level.
This game is a huge hit in many countries, people all over the world are playing music like real life rock stars. In fact, it's not just the everyday Joe's who are rocking out like those actual musicians...
It's been reported that Korn's lead singer, Jonathan Davis, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, country star Rascal Flatts, My Chemical Romance, The Donnas and Incubus are all active players of the game. If these musicians take time out of their hectic schedule to indulge in some Guitar Hero fun on their tour bus, you can bet that it's a rocking good game.
This game features 47 playable songs (classic, contemporary, indies, covers & originals) such as:
I Wanna Be Sedated - The Ramones
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
Iron Man - Black Sabbath
Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
Cochise - Audioslave
Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Crossroads - Cream
Cowboys from Hell - Pantera
With four difficulty settings (Easy, Medium, Hard & Expert) and three modes of play (Career mode, Quick Play, and Multiplayer) - this game will keep both you and your friends entertained for hours, even years to come.
Pick yourself up an extra guitar (the wireless edition is a fan favourite) and a copy of Guitar Hero II for maximum enjoyment.
Rock on.
